Geeta Rani Basra (born 13 March ) is a British former actress who has appeared in Bollywood films.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9] She is married to Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh. They married at a ceremony in a gurudwara near Jalandhar.[10][11] She has spoken of how she was written off as a married woman, even when she and Harbhajan Singh were just friends.[12] Post her marriage to Singh, she quit cinema.
Early life
Basra was born to Indian parents in Portsmouth, Hampshire, on the south coast of England,[2] but now resides in Mumbai, India. She has one younger brother, Rahu
